Is it really October already???
Last week marked the first week of the 4th Quarter - absolute craziness, right? It seems as I get older, the time flies by faster (of course, I've heard that since I was a kid, so I don't know if its true or I just believe it is.)
If you're on our Earth Equity mailing list, you've probably seen that we're preparing for our sixth annual speaker series. We've had some great guests over the years from Vincent Stanley of Patagonia to Jon Sutter of CNN to Lewis Perkins of the Cradle to Cradle Institute.
We've started a theme focused on Drawdown Project solutions for the event. This year, we're focusing on how reducing food waste can help to have a positive effect on climate change. We have Katherine Miller, VP of Impact at the James Beard Foundation and author Jonathan Bloom joining us in Asheville on November 5th. I'd love to see you there!
