Thanksgiving is a time for gratitude. It's a time for taking stock of what we have, giving to others and setting aside our differences to come together in a spirit of fellowship. Despite what the news tells you, we still have much to be thankful for this year.
So, instead of complaining about the weather, the impeachment or the cooking, turn to the person next to you and tell them why you're genuinely grateful for them and for what they've brought to your life. Let's avoid our devices and actually have verbal conversations with those around us.
Let's make Thanksgiving 2019 the year that we turn things back to being human, compassionate and local. Let's be truly grateful for what we have and for those around us.
